About Dipren 0.025% Lotion

Dipren 0.025% Lotion belongs to a class of topical corticosteroid medications used to treat skin conditions such as psoriasis, eczema and dermatitis. Psoriasis is a skin condition characterised by flaky patches of skin covered with scales. Eczema is a skin disorder that causes dry, red, itchy, and rough skin. Dermatitis is a red, itchy rash generated by direct touch with a chemical or an allergic reaction.

Dipren 0.025% Lotion contains Beclomethasone dipropionate, a corticosteroid with anti-inflammatory properties. It reduces swelling, redness, and itching by inhibiting the production of certain chemical messengers in the body that cause inflammation. Thus, Dipren 0.025% Lotion aids in treating skin conditions such as psoriasis, eczema and dermatitis.

Dipren 0.025% Lotion is for external use only. Apply Dipren 0.025% Lotion directly to the affected area. In some cases, Dipren 0.025% Lotion may cause itching, redness, burning or stinging sensation at the application site. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, consult a doctor.
