Diseflox 200mg Infusion belongs to a class of medications called antibiotics used in the treatment of bacterial infections of the urinary tract, genital tract, chest, lungs, skin, and soft tissue. Bacterial infection is a condition in which harmful bacteria grow in the body and cause infection. It can infect any part of the body and multiply very quickly. Diseflox 200mg Infusion does not work against infections caused by a virus.

Diseflox 200mg Infusion contains Ofloxacin that works by interfering with bacterial enzyme, DNA gyrase involved in repairing and replicating the DNA (genetic material) of bacteria. Thus, Diseflox 200mg Infusion kills bacteria and clears the infection. 

Diseflox 200mg Infusion will be administered by a healthcare professional. Do not self-administer. In some cases, you may experience redness, swelling or pain at the injection site, headache, nausea, and diarrhoea. Most of these side effects of Diseflox 200mg Infusion do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor. 

If you are allergic to Ofloxacin or other antibiotics or any other medicines, please tell your doctor. If you are pregnant or planning for pregnancy, please inform your doctor before taking Diseflox 200mg Infusion. Avoid taking Diseflox 200mg Infusion and consult a doctor if you are breastfeeding as Diseflox 200mg Infusion may be excreted in human milk and cause adverse effects in the baby. Diseflox 200mg Infusion is not recommended for children below 18 years as the safety and effectiveness were not established. Drive only if you are alert as Diseflox 200mg Infusion may cause drowsiness, dizziness, or changes in vision. Avoid alcohol consumption with Diseflox 200mg Infusion as it may cause sleepiness or dizziness.

If you have low levels of magnesium or potassium in your blood, inform your doctor before taking Diseflox 200mg Infusion. If you have received transplantation or are about to undergo an operation under general anaesthesia, inform your doctor before taking Diseflox 200mg Infusion.

• Take probiotics after completing the full course of Diseflox 200mg Infusion to restore healthy bacteria in the intestines that may have been killed. Taking probiotics after antibiotic treatment can reduce the risk of antibiotic-associated diarrhoea. Certain fermented foods like cheese, yoghurt, kombucha, sauerkraut, and kimchi can help to restore the good bacteria in the intestine. 
• Include fibre-rich foods, as they can be easily digested by gut bacteria, which helps stimulate their growth. Whole grains such as whole grain bread and, brown rice should be included in your diet. 
• Make sure you drink plenty of water or other fluids every day while you are taking Diseflox 200mg Infusion.
• Avoid alcohol consumption as it may increase adverse effects.

If you are about to undergo any blood or urine tests, inform your doctor that you are taking Diseflox 200mg Infusion as it may interfere with certain tests.
