Dofaq 30Gm Gel contains diclofenac, linseed oil, methyl salicylate, and menthol. Diclofenac and methyl salicylate work by lowering hormones in the body that cause inflammation and pain. Linseed oil inhibits inflammatory mediators like leukotrienes, thereby reducing inflammation. Menthol is a soothing and cooling agent which provides a cooling sensation by dilating the blood vessels. Dofaq 30Gm Gel is only for external use. Use Dofaq 30Gm Gel for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you based on your medical condition. The majority of these side effects do not necessitate medical attention and will subside gradually over time. Drug-Drug Interactions: Dofaq 30Gm Gel may have interaction with pain killer medicines (e.g. aspirin), blood thinners or anticoagulant medicines (e.g. warfarin), and medicines used for the treatment of venous thrombosis (e.g. anisindione, dicumarol).

Drug-Disease Interactions: Inform your doctor if you have had asthma, urticaria (a skin reaction), renal dysfunction or impairment, heart failure, hypertension, and coagulation problems.

• Exercising regularly helps in muscle stretching so that they are less likely to spasm, tear and sprain. Mild exercises such as jogging and walking are helpful for muscle stretching.
• Massages can also be helpful.
• Avoid freezing and hot temperatures.
• Avoid wearing tight-fitting clothes; instead, wear loose garments.
• Rest well, get plenty of sleep.
• To avoid developing pressure sores, change your position at least every two hours.
• Hot or cold therapy can help treat muscle spasms. Apply an ice-pack or hot-pack on the muscle for 15-20minutes.
• Stay hydrated, drink plenty of water.

• Do not apply on open wounds, cuts, abrasions or infected wounds.
• Do not use any bandages after application of Dofaq 30Gm Gel unless suggested by your doctor.
• Avoid contact of Dofaq 30Gm Gel with eyes and mucous membranes. If contact occurs wash with water immediately
