DOLOKIND EYE DROPS 5ML belongs to the class of medicines called nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) to prevent the pupil from narrowing or constricting during eye surgery. Also, DOLOKIND EYE DROPS 5ML is used to treat postoperative pain and swelling of the eye.

DOLOKIND EYE DROPS 5ML is a combination of two drugs, namely: Flurbiprofen (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug) and Hypromellose (eye lubricant). Flurbiprofen works by blocking the action of cyclo-oxygenase (COX) enzyme in the body involved in producing certain chemical substances such as prostaglandins that cause pain and swelling. Thereby, it helps in relieving pain and swelling after eye surgeries. Hypromellose works by forming a lubricating, transparent, and moistening film on the cornea (surface of the eye) and artificial tears. Thereby, it provides a soothing effect and relieves irritation and dryness caused by decreased tear flow.

Use DOLOKIND EYE DROPS 5ML as prescribed by your doctor. DOLOKIND EYE DROPS 5ML is only for use in eyes. You are advised to use DOLOKIND EYE DROPS 5ML for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you based on your medical condition. In some cases, you may experience eye redness, stinging or burning sensation in the eyes, changes in vision, itching of eyes, eye pain. Most of these side effects of DOLOKIND EYE DROPS 5ML do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.

If you are allergic to DOLOKIND EYE DROPS 5ML, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), or any other medicines, please tell your doctor. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, please consult a doctor. DOLOKIND EYE DROPS 5ML is not recommended for children unless advised by a doctor. Drive only if your vision is clear as DOLOKIND EYE DROPS 5ML may cause blurred vision. You are not recommended to use any other eye drops while using DOLOKIND EYE DROPS 5ML unless advised by your doctor.

If you have any bleeding or blood-clotting disorder or arthritis, inform your doctor before taking DOLOKIND EYE DROPS 5ML. Drive only if your vision is clear as DOLOKIND EYE DROPS 5ML may cause blurred vision. Avoid wearing contact lenses while using DOLOKIND EYE DROPS 5ML. Please do not touch the tip of the container to the eye, eyelids, or surrounding areas as it may contaminate DOLOKIND EYE DROPS 5ML and cause eye infections. You are not recommended to use any other eye drops while using DOLOKIND EYE DROPS 5ML unless advised by your doctor.

• Get adequate sleep as resting the muscles can help in reducing inflammation and swelling.
• Eat foods rich in antioxidants such as berries, spinach, kidney beans, dark chocolate, etc.
• Foods containing flavonoids such as soy, berries, broccoli, grapes, and green tea help reduce inflammation.

• Eye redness
• Stinging or burning sensation in the eyes
• Changes in vision
• Itching of eyes
• Eye pain
