Eberjen-M Cream is a combination medicine used to treat skin infections caused by fungi. Fungal infection is a skin disease in which a fungus attacks the tissue and causes infection. Fungal infections may be contagious (spread from one person to another).
 
Eberjen-M Cream contains Eberconazole (anti-fungal) and Mometasone (steroid). Eberconazole works by preventing the formation of fungal protective covering, thereby stops their growth. Mometasone inhibits the release of chemical messengers that cause inflammation and redness. Together, Eberjen-M Cream helps in treating fungal skin infections.

In some cases, you may experience common side-effects such as burning sensation, irritation, itching and redness at the site of application. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if you experience these side effects persistently.
 
Do not use Eberjen-M Cream if you had a skin reaction or irritation to any steroid medicine. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Do not use Eberjen-M Cream in more than prescribed doses or on a large area of skin for a longer duration as it may cause adverse effects. If Eberjen-M Cream comes in contact with eyes, nose or mouth, rinse with water immediately.

Do not use Eberjen-M Cream if you are allergic to any of the components. Inform your doctor if you have/had skin reaction or irritation to any steroid medicine; if you have glaucoma, diabetes, adrenal gland disorder, kidney or liver disease. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Do not use Eberjen-M Cream in more than prescribed doses or on a large area of skin for a longer duration, as it may cause adverse effects. Do not wrap or cover the treated area with a bandage unless advised by your doctor.

• Regularly change your socks and wash your feet. Avoid shoes that make your feet sweaty and hot.
• In wet places such as changing rooms and gym showers, avoid walking barefoot to prevent fungal infections.
• Do not scratch the affected area of the skin, as it can spread the infection to other body parts.
• Avoid sharing towels, combs, bedsheets, shoes or socks with others.
• Wash your bed sheets and towels regularly.
• Avoid getting in contact with harsh soaps, detergents and rough fabrics.

• Clean and dry the affected area before using Eberjen-M Cream.
• Do not use Eberjen-M Cream on dressing, band-aids and make-up unless told by the doctor.
• If Eberjen-M Cream comes in contact with eyes, nose or mouth, rinse with water immediately.
• Wash your hands before and after using Eberjen-M Cream; however, do not wash your hands if you are applying Eberjen-M Cream on your hands.
• Do not apply Eberjen-M Cream on wounds, cuts, damaged skin, or scrapes.
