ELECTROKIND Z SACHETS 21.5GM is a combination of four drugs, namely: Sodium chloride, potassium chloride, dextrose, and sodium citrate. ELECTROKIND Z SACHETS 21.5GM helps in replacing the fluids and minerals lost due to vomiting or diarrhoea. Thereby, helps in treating and preventing dehydration.
 
In some cases, you may experience certain common side effects, such as mild nausea and vomiting. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if the side effects persist or worsen.

ELECTROKIND Z SACHETS 21.5GM helps in replacing the fluids and minerals lost due to vomiting or diarrhoea. Thereby, helps in treating and preventing dehydration.

ELECTROKIND Z SACHETS 21.5GM may increase the risk of hyperkalemia (high level of potassium in the blood). ELECTROKIND Z SACHETS 21.5GM should be avoided in patients with or at risk for hyperkalemia.

ELECTROKIND Z SACHETS 21.5GM should be used with caution in patients with impaired glucose tolerance. Regular monitoring of blood sugar levels is advised.

The risk for hyponatremia is increased in elderly, paediatric patients, postoperative patients and patients who are taking drugs which may increase the risk of hyponatremia. Close clinical monitoring in such patients is advised.

Consult your doctor before taking corticosteroids or corticotropin as it may increase the risk of sodium fluid retention.
