Entimin 4mg/10mg Tablet contains two medicines namely: Chlorpheniramine maleate (anti-histamine/anti-allergic) and Phenylephrine (decongestant). Chlorpheniramine maleate blocks the release of histamine in the body, which is known to cause allergic symptoms. On the other hand, Phenylephrine helps shrink the blood vessels in the nasal passage, thereby reducing the stuffy nose. Together, Entimin 4mg/10mg Tablet effectively reduces allergic symptoms.

Entimin 4mg/10mg Tablet can be taken with or without food in a dose and duration as advised by the doctor. The duration of Entimin 4mg/10mg Tablet will depend upon your condition. The most common side effects of Entimin 4mg/10mg Tablet are drowsiness, dizziness, headache, dry mouth/nose/throat, upset stomach, constipation, or trouble sleeping. Most of these side effects of Entimin 4mg/10mg Tablet do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects are persistent, reach out to your doctor.

Entimin 4mg/10mg Tablet may cause drowsiness and sleepiness, so it is advised not to drive or operate machinery unless you are alert. Consumption of alcohol should be avoided as it may lead to excessive drowsiness and sleepiness. If you are due to undergo any surgery, please inform your doctor that you are taking Entimin 4mg/10mg Tablet as it should not be taken during surgery. Do not take Entimin 4mg/10mg Tablet if you have taken an MAO inhibitor (anti-depressant medication) in the past 14 days.
