Entofoam 10% Foam 20.8 gm contains Hydrocortisone, a steroid that works by inhibiting the production of certain chemical messengers in the body that cause redness and swelling. 

Use Entofoam 10% Foam 20.8 gm as prescribed. You are advised to use Entofoam 10% Foam 20.8 gm for as long as your doctor has recommended it for you based on your medical condition. It works by inhibiting the production of certain chemical messengers in the body that cause redness and swelling. Thereby helping in reducing inflammation (redness and swelling) of the rectum and providing relief from symptoms such as pain in the rectum or bleeding from the rectum.

Directions for Use

Check the label for directions before using Entofoam 10% Foam 20.8 gm. Shake the can vigorously before use. Hold the can upright and fill the applicator. One applicatorful is inserted into the rectum as advised by the doctor. Stand with one leg raised on a chair or lie down on your side. Insert the applicator gently into the rectum and push the plunger fully into the applicator. Always take the applicator apart and wash it thoroughly after use.

Drug-Drug Interactions: If you are taking adrenal corticosteroid inhibitor (aminoglutethimide), antifungals (amphotericin B, ketoconazole), macrolide antibiotics, blood thinner (warfarin), anticholinesterases, antidiabetic agents, antituberculosis drug (isoniazid, rifampin), a medicine used to lower high blood cholesterol levels (cholestyramine), immunosuppressant (cyclosporine), digitalis glycosides, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (aspirin), estrogens including oral contraceptives, barbiturates, or anticonvulsants (phenytoin, carbamazepine), inform your doctor before using Entofoam 10% Foam 20.8 gm.
