Enzomac CM Particles 15 ml is an antibiotic medication primarily used to treat non-healing wound ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers, venous ulcers, pressure ulcers (bed sores), infected wounds, and minimally to heavy draining wounds. It also treats surgical, open-fracture, tunnel-fissure, and traumatic wounds.

Enzomac CM Particles 15 ml is composed of Collagen, Metronidazole, and Mupirocin. Collagen promotes wound healing by laying down a collagen matrix in the wound bed, thus aiding the formation of granulation tissue (new connective tissue) and epithelialization (repairing the wounded area). Metronidazole belongs to the class of drugs called nitroimidazole antimicrobials. It exerts bactericidal (kills bacteria) action and inhibits bacterial DNA synthesis and cell growth. Mupirocin is an antibacterial drug. It prevents the synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria to carry out their vital functions, thus preventing bacterial growth.

Enzomac CM Particles 15 ml is for external use only. Your doctor will advise the appropriate dose that suits your infection. Common side effects of Enzomac CM Particles 15 ml include itching, burning/stinging sensation, irritation, dryness, and redness at the application site. Enzomac CM Particles 15 ml acts as a 'sacrificial substrate' and reduces the levels of MMP (Matrix Metallo-Proteinases, enzymes that digest components of the extracellular matrix) in the wound. Mupirocin is an antibiotic and prevents the synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria to carry out their vital functions. Metronidazole is an antibacterial drug that treats skin ulcers, bed sores, wounds, and other bacterial and parasitic infections. It inhibits the DNA synthesis of bacteria and certain parasites and prevents their cell growth. 

Enzomac CM Particles 15 ml is for external use only. Avoid contact with eyes, nose, and mouth. Rinse thoroughly with water if you get the medicine accidentally in these areas. Cover the affected areas with a dressing or bandage only if the doctor advises you. Inform your doctor if you have any blood disorders or liver or kidney diseases before using Enzomac CM Particles 15 ml. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, you should use Enzomac CM Particles 15 ml only with proper doctor consultation and caution. • Use mild soap while taking baths and prefer warm baths.
• Always wear loose-fitting clothes to avoid further sweat and the spread of skin infection.
• Regularly change your socks and wash your feet. Avoid shoes that make your feet sweaty and hot.
• Do not walk barefoot at places like gym showers to prevent infections.
• Do not scratch the affected skin areas, as it can spread the infection to other body parts.
• Avoid sharing towels, combs, bedsheets, shoes or socks with others.
• Wash your bed sheets and towels regularly.
• Avoid or limit the intake of alcohol and caffeine.
• Manage stress, eat healthily, drink plenty of water, exercise regularly, and get plenty of sleep.

• The wound may appear larger during the initial days of the treatment since there will be a decrease in the swelling.
• For drainage wounds, the draining may increase during the first days of the treatment.
