About Epigaze Eye Drops 5 ml

Epigaze Eye Drops 5 ml is an antihistamine medicine used in the prevention of itching associated with allergic conjunctivitis. Allergic conjunctivitis is a condition in which the eyes become itchy, red, swollen, and teary when exposed to certain substances in the air.
 
Epigaze Eye Drops 5 ml contains Epinastine, which belongs to the class of antihistamines. It works by blocking and preventing the action of histamine, a chemical substance that causes allergic symptoms. Thereby, Epigaze Eye Drops 5 ml helps treat allergic conjunctivitis.
 
Epigaze Eye Drops 5 ml may cause common side effects such as eye irritation, headache, cough, runny nose, swollen eyelids, and common cold. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and resolve gradually over time. However, if these side effects persist for a longer period, please consult your doctor as soon as possible. Epigaze Eye Drops 5 ml is an ophthalmic preparation. Epigaze Eye Drops 5 ml is for ophthalmic use only. Wash your hands thoroughly before and after using Epigaze Eye Drops 5 ml. Lie down and tilt your head backwards. Pull your lower eyelid gently with your index finger to form a pocket. Instil the number of drops or a tiny amount of gel, as advised by the doctor, into the pocket of the lower eyelid. Close your eyes for 1-2 minutes. Replace the outer cap after use. Do not touch the container’s tip to the eye, eyelids or surrounding areas as it may contaminate Epigaze Eye Drops 5 ml.
