Anxiety is a mental health disorder characterized by feelings of intense, excessive and persistent worry or fear that are strong enough to interfere with one’s daily activities. Anxiety symptoms include rapid breathing, increased heart rate, restlessness, trouble concentrating, and difficulty falling asleep.

Escnx Plus 10 Tablet is a combination of two drugs: clonazepam and escitalopram. Clonazepam produces a calming effect by suppressing the abnormal activity of nerve cells. Escitalopram increases the serotonin hormone levels that improve mood, behaviour, and cognition in patients with anxiety.

Escnx Plus 10 Tablet should be taken as prescribed by the doctor. Common side-effects of Escnx Plus 10 Tablet are nausea, headache, dizziness, confusion, drowsiness, fatigue, sleeping problems, breathlessness, poor coordination of movements, stomach upset, decreased libido (low sexual desire), and memory problems. Please do not stop taking Escnx Plus 10 Tablet abruptly, as it can cause withdrawal symptoms. Escnx Plus 10 Tablet may cause suicidal thoughts and worsen anxiety.

• Foods and drinks like salmon, chamomile, turmeric, dark chocolate, green tea, and yoghurt may help with anxiety.

• Your doctor may advise regular eye checkups as using Escnx Plus 10 Tablet may worsen the symptoms in patients with open-angle glaucoma.
• Consult your doctor immediately if there is any change in behaviour or if you have any suicidal thoughts.
