An anxiety disorder is a mental condition characterized by feelings of excessive fear or worry that affect an individual's daily activities. High levels of anxiety can cause panic attacks, with intense feelings of nervousness, fear, sudden onset of sweating, hyperventilation, fast heartbeat, and skin flushing.

Etiq-Beta LS Tablet 15's contains Etizolam (benzodiazepine) and Propanolol (a beta-blocker), used to treat anxiety. Etizolam works by increasing the action of a chemical messenger GABA, which suppresses the excessive and abnormal activity of nerve cells in the brain. Propanolol works by blocking a certain chemical messenger in the heart and blood vessels, reducing blood pressure, heart rate, and workload on the heart.

Take Etiq-Beta LS Tablet 15's as prescribed by your doctor. You are advised to take Etiq-Beta LS Tablet 15's for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you, depending upon your medical condition. In some cases, you may experience confusion, slow heart rate, memory impairment, tiredness, cold extremities, uncoordinated body movements, drowsiness. Most of these side effects of Etiq-Beta LS Tablet 15's do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects are persistent, reach out to your doctor.

Drug-Drug Interaction: Etiq-Beta LS Tablet 15's may have interaction with high blood pressure-lowering medicines (clonidine, moxonidine, lofexidine, hydralazine, minoxidil, nitroprusside), fits related drugs (phenytoin, clonazepam, alprazolam, escitalopram, carbamazepine), antidepressants (paroxetine, fluvoxamine, trazodone), anti-allergic medication (cetirizine), opioid pain killers (bupropion, morphine, codeine), drugs used to treat heartburn (cisapride), sedative-hypnotics (zolpidem), drugs used to treat low blood sugar (diazoxide), antifungals (fluconazole), drugs for stomach ulcers (cimetidine, esomeprazole, omeprazole), antipsychotics (clozapine), drugs to treat chronic alcoholism (disulfiram).

Drug-Food Interaction: Etiq-Beta LS Tablet 15's may interact with alcohol. Therefore, avoid alcohol intake while taking Etiq-Beta LS Tablet 15's as it may increase side effects such as drowsiness, dizziness, or difficulty in concentrating.

Drug-Disease Interaction: If you have myasthenia gravis (muscle weakness), pulmonary insufficiency, kidney or liver problems, diabetes, heart problem, inform your doctor before taking Etiq-Beta LS Tablet 15's.

• Avoid watching tv, using mobiles or laptops just before bedtime.
• Avoid consumption of alcohol as it may increase drowsiness

• Etiq-Beta LS Tablet 15's causes drowsiness. Avoid doing activities that require your complete focus and attention, like driving when on this drug.
• An abrupt stoppage of Etiq-Beta LS Tablet 15's can lead to significant withdrawal symptoms. Always discuss with your doctor about decreasing the dosage before completely stopping its usage.
• Avoid consuming alcohol while on Etiq-Beta LS Tablet 15's as it can lead to dangerous side effects.
• Etiq-Beta LS Tablet 15's is unsafe for usage if you're pregnant or are planning to get pregnant. Discuss with your doctor in such situations about changing/replacing the medicine with safer alternatives.
• To avoid getting addicted to this drug, take it only in prescribed quantities and only as directed by your doctor. Do not self-medicate.
