Flacox-T Eye Drops 5 ml belongs to ophthalmic eye medications primarily used to treat bacterial eye infections and reduce swelling, itching, and redness. Conjunctivitis (pink eye) is a common bacterial eye infection associated with the inflammation or infection of the conjunctiva (white part of the eye) and the inner eyelid.
Flacox-T Eye Drops 5 ml is a combination of two drugs, namely: Tobramycin (antibiotic) and Fluorometholone (corticosteroid). Tobramycin belongs to the class of antibiotics that works by inhibiting the production of essential proteins that are necessary for bacteria to grow, multiply and increase in numbers. Thereby, it destroys bacteria. Fluorometholone belongs to the class of steroids that works by inhibiting the release of certain chemical messengers in the body that cause redness, itching, and swelling. Thereby, reduces the redness and swelling caused due to bacterial infections.
Use Flacox-T Eye Drops 5 ml as prescribed by your doctor. Flacox-T Eye Drops 5 ml is only for use in eyes. You are advised to use Flacox-T Eye Drops 5 ml for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you based on your medical condition. In some cases, you may experience eye irritation, eye redness, itchy or swollen eyelids, mild burning or stinging sensation in the eye, or eye discomfort. Most of these side effects of Flacox-T Eye Drops 5 ml do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.
If you are allergic to Flacox-T Eye Drops 5 ml or any other medicines, please tell your doctor. Flacox-T Eye Drops 5 ml is not recommended for children below 1 year of age. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, please inform your doctor before using Flacox-T Eye Drops 5 ml. Drive only if your vision is clear as Flacox-T Eye Drops 5 ml may cause temporary blurred vision immediately after applying. You are recommended to maintain a time gap of at least 5 minutes between using Flacox-T Eye Drops 5 ml and other eye drops.

Drive only if your vision is clear as Flacox-T Eye Drops 5 ml may cause temporary blurred vision immediately after applying. You are advised to remove soft contact lenses before using Flacox-T Eye Drops 5 ml as it may cause discolouration of the soft contact lens.
