About Folmet NM Tablet

Folmet NM Tablet belongs to a class of 'nutritional supplements,' primarily used to treat nutritional deficiencies and anaemia (lack of red blood cells) caused due to lack of folic acid. Nutritional deficiency occurs when the body is unable to absorb or get enough nutrients from food.

Folmet NM Tablet contains Folic acid and Tri-Methylglycine (Betaine). Folic acid helps in the formation of red blood cells and prevents DNA changes that may lead to cancer. Tri-Methylglycine is an amino acid derivative that helps treat hyperhomocysteinemia (high levels of homocysteine, an amino acid) caused due to low folate levels.

Your doctor will decide the duration based on your medical condition. In some cases, Folmet NM Tablet may cause side effects like nausea, diarrhoea, and stomach upset. These side effects do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if these side effects persist longer, please consult your doctor.
