Fonadrem 1% Cream 30 gm belongs to the class of antifungal primarily used to treat fungal infections. An infection occurs when a fungus invades and affects the tissue on the skin. Fungi can live in the air, soil, water and plants. Symptoms of a fungal infection include skin rash, irritation, redness, and scaling of the skin.

Fonadrem 1% Cream 30 gm contains 'bifonazole', which belongs to the imidazole antifungal group that kills fungi by causing holes in their cell membrane, thereby leaking all content. Thus Fonadrem 1% Cream 30 gm improves your skin infection.

Use this Fonadrem 1% Cream 30 gm as advised by the doctor. Fonadrem 1% Cream 30 gm should not be used in the eye. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should use Fonadrem 1% Cream 30 gm with proper consultation and caution.

Drug-Disease Interactions: Inform your doctor if you have liver diseases, kidney diseases, human immunodeficiency virus infection before using Fonadrem 1% Cream 30 gm. 

• WARFARIN

• Use mild soap while taking baths and prefer warm baths.
• Avoid harsh products on your skin.
• Do not scratch or pick your skin to avoid getting the affected area infected.
• Manage stress, eat healthily, drink plenty of water, exercise regularly, and get plenty of sleep.

• Fonadrem 1% Cream 30 gm may cause a local skin irritation which may have similar symptoms of the infection. If any of your symptoms gets worse, stop treatment and see your doctor as soon as possible.

Fungal infection: A fungal infection (also called mycosis) is a skin disease caused by a fungus when it invades the tissue. 

Tinea pedis or Athlete's foot: It is a fungal infection between the toes due to sweating.

Tinea cruris or Jock itch: A fungal infection in the skin of the genitals, inner thighs, and buttocks.

Tinea Versicolor:  The fungus interferes with the normal pigmentation of the skin, resulting in small, discolored patches.
