About Glucell-Forte Tablet
Glucell-Forte Tablet is a combination medicine used to protect the skin from harmful UV radiation. It is used in the treatment of melasma and hyperpigmentation. Melasma is a skin condition that causes brown and patchy pigmentation on the face. Hyperpigmentation is a skin condition that causes dark patches on the skin due to the excess production of melanin.
Glucell-Forte Tablet is a combination of tranexamic acid, L Glutathione and Ascorbic acid (Vitamin C). It mainly works by inhibiting the parent enzyme named tyrosinase and thus suppress melanin production. In addition, Glucell-Forte Tablet also protects the skin from the harmful UV rays of the sun. Glucell-Forte Tablet slows the ageing process and reduces the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines by reducing free radical damage to the skin.
Glucell-Forte Tablet may cause certain side effects such as redness, rash, itching, and dry skin. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if you experience these side effects consistently. Take Glucell-Forte Tablet as advised by your doctor. Do not take more than the prescribed dose. The dose of this medicine will be decided by your doctor based on your condition.
Glucell-Forte Tablet should be avoided if you are allergic to any of the components present in it. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding before taking Glucell-Forte Tablet . Also, let your doctor know about your medical history and current medication including OTC drugs, vitamins and herbal supplements.
