About Gnorm Adults Capsule 10's

Gnorm Adults Capsule 10's belongs to the group of medicines called probiotics used to treat and prevent diarrhoea, including rotaviral diarrhoea in children. Gnorm Adults Capsule 10's may also be used for acne, antibiotic-associated diarrhoea, Clostridium difficile-associated diarrhoea, Helicobacter pylori infection, traveller’s diarrhoea, diarrhoea in people with HIV/AIDS, and necrotising enterocolitis (a serious intestinal disease in premature infants).
 
Gnorm Adults Capsule 10's contains ‘Saccharomyces boulardii’, a friendly micro-organism that helps fight disease-causing organisms in the gut, such as yeast and bacteria. Thereby, Gnorm Adults Capsule 10's helps in treating diarrhoea. Gnorm Adults Capsule 10's helps restore the balance of intestinal bacterial flora and strengthens immunity and overall gut health.
 
You are advised to take Gnorm Adults Capsule 10's for as long as your doctor has recommended it for you, depending on your medical condition. Directions for Use

Sachet/Powder/Granules: Mix the contents in water or beverage and swallow. Avoid mixing the contents with very hot or cold liquids. Capsule: Swallow the capsule as a whole with water. Do not crush, break or chew it.Orodispersible sticks: It should be administered orally, directly or mixed with water. Do not mix with very cold or hot water.Dry syrup/Syrup: Check the label for directions and use it as advised by the doctor.

  • Drink plenty of fluids to stay hydrated.
  • Include bland foods such as bananas, rice, apples, cream of wheat, soda crackers, farina, applesauce, and toast to avoid aggravating the digestive system.
  • Avoid eating foods such as milk, dairy products, spicy foods, processed foods, pork, veal, sardines, raw vegetables, rhubarb, onions, corn, citrus fruits, alcohol, pineapples, cherries, seeded berries, grapes, caffeinated and carbonated drinks. 
  • Eat fibre-rich food such as whole grains, lentils, beans, broccoli, and peas.
