About GV-Cone Tablet 10's

GV-Cone Tablet 10's belongs to a group of medicines called anti-flatulent, used to treat intestinal gas, painful pressure, poisoning, and swelling in the abdomen. Intestinal gas (Flatulence) and bloating occur due to the accumulation of gas or air in the digestive system.

GV-Cone Tablet 10's is a combination of two drugs: Simethicone and Activated Charcoal are anti-flatulent medications. Simethicone works by decreasing the surface tension of gas bubbles, thereby facilitating the expulsion of gas through flatus or belching (burping). It also prevents the accumulation and formation of gas in the digestive tract. Activated Charcoal helps to reduce the volume of intestinal gas and produces discernible relief.

You are advised to take GV-Cone Tablet 10's for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you, depending on your medical condition. In some cases, you may experience certain common side-effects such as dark stools and constipation. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if you experience these side effects persistently.

Do not take GV-Cone Tablet 10's if you are pregnant or breastfeeding unless prescribed by the doctor. GV-Cone Tablet 10's should not be given to children as safety has not been established. Avoid consuming alcohol along with GV-Cone Tablet 10's.
