Halonix One Injection 6 ml belongs to the class of medicines called non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs)  used in the treatment of knee pain due to osteoarthritis in patients who have failed to respond adequately to simple painkillers or physical therapy and exercise. Osteoarthritis is a degenerative joint disease in which the two ends of the joints come together due to the breakdown of a protective covering of cartilage. Due to the absence of this protective covering, the joints rub against each other, leading to pain and stiffness.

Halonix One Injection 6 ml contains Sodium hyaluronate, which works by restoring synovial fluid in the knee that helps to lubricate and cushion the joint during movement. Thereby it reduces pain.

Halonix One Injection 6 ml will be administered by a healthcare professional; do not self-administer. In some cases, you may experience certain common side effects such as pain, swelling, redness, and warmth at the injection site or fluid in the joint. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.

Avoid activities such as tennis, heavy lifting, jogging, or standing on your feet for a long time immediately after receiving Halonix One Injection 6 ml and for the next 48 hours.

• Performing yoga may also help in improving joint flexibility and pain management.
• Maintain a healthy weight by performing regular low-strain exercises and eating healthy food.
• Get adequate sleep, as resting the muscles can help in reducing inflammation and swelling.
• Follow heat or cold therapy, and apply a cold or hot compress on the joints for 15-20 minutes regularly.
• Acupuncture, massage, and physical therapy may also be helpful.
• Eat foods rich in antioxidants such as berries, spinach, kidney beans, dark chocolate, etc.
• Foods containing flavonoids, such as soy, berries, broccoli, grapes, and green tea, help reduce inflammation.
• Avoid smoking and alcohol consumption.
