About HP Kit 1's

HP Kit 1's belongs to the class of medicines called ‘anti-ulcerants' primarily used to treat peptic ulcers. A sore that develops on the lining of the oesophagus, stomach or small intestine called peptic ulcers.Ulcers occur when stomach acid damages the lining of the digestive tract and the most common symptom of a peptic ulcer is stomach pain.

HP Kit 1's is a combination of three medicines include: omeprazole, amoxicillin and tinidazole, which are antiulcerants .Omeprazole is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) which reduces the amount of acid in the stomach and treats acid-related indigestion and ulcers. Amoxicillin is  an antibiotic which works by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering that is essential for the survival of bacteria in the human body. Tinidazole is also an antibiotic which kills the bacteria and other microorganisms that cause infections by damaging their DNA. Together, they eradicate the infection effectively.

Take HP Kit 1's as prescribed by your doctor. You are advised to take HP Kit 1's for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you depending on your medical conditions. Swallow each pill whole and do not crush, chew, break, or open it.  Take HP Kit 1's twice daily before you eat, unless your doctor tells you about it.You may experience common side effects like diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, flatulence, indigestion, dizziness, tiredness, headache, skin rash, dryness in mouth, metallic taste. Most of these side effects of HP Kit 1's do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time.
