Hydi-15 Cream 20 gm is a combination medicine used in the treatment of hyperpigmentation and melasma (a type of skin problem). Hydi-15 Cream 20 gm is a combination of three drugs, namely: Hydroquinone (skin-lightening agent), Octyl methoxycinnamate, and Oxybenzone (organic compounds). Hydroquinone belongs to the class of skin-lightening agents that works by decreasing the amount of melanin (a skin pigment) that is responsible for the darkening of the skin. Octyl methoxycinnamate and Oxybenzone work by absorbing UV (ultraviolet) rays from the sun and protects the skin from sun damage.
Hydi-15 Cream 20 gm is only for external use. Use Hydi-15 Cream 20 gm as prescribed by your doctor. You are advised to use Hydi-15 Cream 20 gm for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you based on your medical condition. In some cases, you may experience redness, irritation, itching, burning, or stinging sensation of the skin. Most of these side effects of Hydi-15 Cream 20 gm do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.
