Infen Gel 30 gm belongs to a class of drugs called nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDS) used to treat moderate to severe pain in conditions such as osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis. Osteoarthritis is a degenerative joint disease in which the two ends of the joints come together due to the breakdown of a protective covering of cartilage.

Infen Gel 30 gm contains Dexketoprofen, which works by blocking the action of cyclo-oxygenase (COX) enzyme in the body involved in producing certain chemical substances, such as prostaglandins, that cause pain and swelling. Thereby, it helps in relieving pain and swelling.

Infen Gel 30 gm is for external use only. In some cases, you may experience skin irritation or a burning sensation. Most of these side effects of Infen Gel 30 gm do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects worsen or persist, please consult your doctor.

• Maintain a healthy weight by performing regular low-strain exercises and eating healthy food.
• Get adequate sleep, as resting the muscles can help in reducing inflammation and swelling.
• Follow heat or cold therapy, and apply a cold or hot compress on the joints for 15-20 minutes regularly.
• Acupuncture, massage and physical therapy may also be helpful.
• Eat foods rich in antioxidants such as berries, spinach, kidney beans, dark chocolate, etc.
• Foods containing flavonoids, such as soy, berries, broccoli, grapes and green tea, help in reducing inflammation.
• Avoid smoking and alcohol consumption.
