Kinetozyme Tablet is a combination medication that belongs to a class of drugs called 'analgesic' used to relieve musculoskeletal pain in the conditions of osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, and ankylosing spondylitis. It may also provide relief from acute (short-term) pain such as toothache, ear pain, throat pain, muscle ache, and backache. Pain is caused by damage to the tissues of the muscle, bone, or other organs for a short time (acute) or long time (chronic).  

Kinetozyme Tablet contains Rutoside, Trypsin-chymotrypsin and Bromelain. Trypsin-chymotrypsin and Bromelain are enzymes that have antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties. They reduce pain, swelling, and inflammation by increasing the blood supply to the affected area. Rutoside is an antioxidant and anti-inflammatory agent. It prevents further swelling and inflammation by neutralizing the chemicals (free radicals) that cause cell damage. 

Take Kinetozyme Tablet with or without food as prescribed by your doctor and swallow it whole with a glass of water. Do not crush, chew or break it. Your doctor will advise you on the duration based on your medical condition. In some cases, you may experience vomiting, nausea, diarrhoea, rash, or mouth sores. Most of these side effects of Kinetozyme Tablet do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.

If you are allergic to Kinetozyme Tablet or any other medicines, please tell your doctor. Avoid Kinetozyme Tablet in patients who are allergic to pineapple, carrot, papaya, fennel, and pollens. Kinetozyme Tablet is not recommended for pregnant women as it contains Bromelain, which may cause abortion or miscarriage. If you are pregnant or planning for pregnancy, please consult a doctor before taking Kinetozyme Tablet . Before undergoing any planned surgery, inform your doctor that you are taking Kinetozyme Tablet .

If you are allergic to Kinetozyme Tablet or any other medicines, please tell your doctor. People allergic to pineapple, carrot, papain, fennel, and pollen should avoid the intake of Kinetozyme Tablet . Kinetozyme Tablet is not recommended for pregnant women as it contains Bromelain, which may cause miscarriage, so if you are pregnant or planning for pregnancy, let your doctor know about this. If you are about to undergo any surgery, inform your doctor that you are taking Kinetozyme Tablet . It should be stopped a minimum of 2 weeks before surgery as Kinetozyme Tablet may increase the risk of bleeding during and after surgery. If you have blood pressure problems, clotting or bleeding problems, infection, hematuria (blood in urine), hematemesis (vomiting blood), kidney or liver disorders, inform your doctor before taking Kinetozyme Tablet .

• Turmeric and fish oils can help in reducing inflammation in the tissue.
• Do not go for heavy exercise as it may increase your joint pain in arthritis. Instead, you can do stretching and low-impact aerobic exercises like walking on a treadmill, bike riding, and swimming. You can also increase your muscle strength by lifting light weights.
• Get adequate sleep, as resting the muscles can help in reducing inflammation and swelling.
• In the chronic condition of arthritis or joint pain, including fish like salmon, trout, tuna, and sardines. These fishes are enriched with omega-3 fatty acids that minimize the level of chemicals called cytokines, which may increase inflammation.
• Your sitting posture is important, especially when have pain and inflammation conditions. Try to sit as little as possible and only for a short time (10-15 min). Use back support like a rolled-up towel at the back of your curve to minimize pain. Keep your hips and knees at a right angle. Besides this, you can use a footrest if required.

Kinetozyme Tablet must not be used by patients with severe inborn bleeding disorders like haemophilia, severe liver damage, and dialysed patients.

Osteoarthritis: It is a joint disease in which the two ends of the joints come together due to the breakdown of a protective covering called cartilage. Due to the absence of this protective covering, the joints rub against each other, leading to pain and stiffness. Symptoms include pain, stiffness, inflammation, and tenderness.

Rheumatoid arthritis: It is an auto-immune disease (the body's immune system attacks its tissue), leading to joint pain and damage. Symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis include pain, swelling, stiffness, deformities, and loss of joint function.
