Lanum C 500 Tablet can correct metabolic acidosis to some extent which is associated with chronic kidney disease. Closely monitoring for renal function, serum calcium, and phosphate concentrations is recommended.

sarcoidosis In patients with sarcoidosis, sometimes hypercalciuria, with or without hypercalcemia, may occur. Elevated calcium levels may be caused by increased intestinal calcium absorption, which is linked to extrarenal vitamin D synthesis by mononuclear phagocytes present within the sarcoid granuloma. Use Lanum C 500 Tablet only if necessary in case of sarcoidosis with caution.

How to manage the interaction:
Hypercalciuria (excessive urinary calcium excretion), with or without hypercalcemia (high calcium levels), may occasionally occur in patients with sarcoidosis. Therapy with Lanum C 500 Tablet should be administered cautiously and only if necessary in patients with sarcoidosis.
