LORAM TABLET contains Ramipril and Losartan. Ramipril is an angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor and works by lowering the body’s production of substances that could narrow the blood vessels and increase blood pressure. Losartan is an angiotensin-II receptor blocker (ARB) which narrows the blood vessels increasing the blood pressure, therefore blocking angiotensin can result in widening of the narrowed blood vessels. Together, LORAM TABLET can effectively reduce blood pressure and prevent complications associated with it.

LORAM TABLET can be safely taken as long as your doctor has prescribed it to you. High blood pressure is a life-long condition and you should not abruptly stop taking the medicine. Discontinuing LORAM TABLET may lead to increased blood pressure with a high risk of heart attack and stroke in the future.
