Lorinol HS 5 Eye Drops 5 ml contains Loteprednol etabonate. It is a corticosteroid that works by blocking prostaglandins (a chemical messenger) in the brain that cause inflammation and swelling. Thereby, Lorinol HS 5 Eye Drops 5 ml helps treat inflammation and pain. 

Lorinol HS 5 Eye Drops 5 ml is for ophthalmic use only. You are advised to use Lorinol HS 5 Eye Drops 5 ml for as long as your doctor has prescribed it. In some cases, Lorinol HS 5 Eye Drops 5 ml may cause watery eyes, irritation, itching, and foreign body sensation in the eye. Directions for Use

Lorinol HS 5 Eye Drops 5 ml is for ophthalmic use only. Eye drops: Lie down and tilt your head backwards. Pull your lower eyelid gently with your index finger to form a pocket. Instil the number of drops advised by the doctor into the pocket of the lower eyelid. Close your eyes for 1-2 minutes.Eye gel/Ointment: Lie down and tilt your head backwards. Pull your lower eyelid gently with your index finger to form a pocket. Squeeze a tiny amount of the medicine into the pocket of the lower eyelid. Close your eyes for 1-2 minutes.
