About LOZEE CREAM 15GM

LOZEE CREAM 15GM belongs to the group of medicines called 'topical corticosteroids', primarily used to treat skin conditions such as psoriasis, dermatitis, eczema, allergies, nappy rash.  This medicine effectively reduces swelling, itching and redness of the skin. Psoriasis is a long-lasting skin issue that makes skin red, patchy and is mostly seen on elbows and scalp. Dermatitis makes skin red, swollen and dry and is more see in children, however, anyone can experience it. Eczema is skin issues in which certain patches of skin becomes cracked, itchy, rough and inflamed. Skin allergy occurs when the skin comes in direct contact with certain pollens, foods, pet dander. LOZEE CREAM 15GM is made up of two medications namely: Clobetasol and Zinc sulfate. Clobetasol is a steroid medicine that works by inhibiting the release of chemical messengers that cause inflammation and redness. Zinc is an important mineral that helps to maintain the health of the skin. Zinc helps to heal the infection. Together, LOZEE CREAM 15GM helps in treating skin infections.

Do not apply LOZEE CREAM 15GM on children’s skin unless prescribed by the doctor. Apply the medication carefully if you are using it on eyelids or near the eyes, as there is a risk of cataracts or glaucoma if the drug enters the eye frequently. LOZEE CREAM 15GM can enter the skin easily and may cause skin thinning because of repeated application. So, apply it carefully when using on broken or damaged skin and large surface area of skin. Inform your doctor immediately if you experience vision problems or any other abnormal signs. Do not use LOZEE CREAM 15GM at the same time as other creams or ointments such as a moisturizer. Wait at least 30 minutes between using clobetasone and any other product. Do not apply LOZEE CREAM 15GM on open wounds, infected skin, cuts and inflamed skin.
