LOZEE CREAM belongs to the group of medicines called 'topical corticosteroids', primarily used to treat skin conditions such as psoriasis, dermatitis, eczema, allergies, nappy rash.  This medicine effectively reduces swelling, itching and redness of the skin. Psoriasis is a long-lasting skin issue that makes skin red, patchy and is mostly seen on elbows and scalp. Dermatitis makes skin red, swollen and dry and is more see in children, however, anyone can experience it. Eczema is skin issues in which certain patches of skin becomes cracked, itchy, rough and inflamed. Skin allergy occurs when the skin comes in direct contact with certain pollens, foods, pet dander. A nappy rash may make the child's skin sore and red.

LOZEE CREAM is made up of two medications namely: Clobetasol and Zinc sulfate. Clobetasol is a steroid medicine that works by inhibiting the release of chemical messengers that cause inflammation and redness. Zinc is an important mineral that helps to maintain the health of the skin. Zinc helps to heal the infection. Together, LOZEE CREAM helps in treating skin infections.

You are advised to use LOZEE CREAM for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you depending on your medical condition. In some cases, you may experience certain common side-effects such as skin peeling, dryness, burning sensation, irritation, stinging sensation, itching and redness at the site of application. Most of these side-effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if you experience these side-effects persistently.

Consult your doctor before using LOZEE CREAM if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Do not use LOZEE CREAM in more than prescribed doses or on a large area of skin for a longer duration as it may cause adverse effects. Keep your doctor informed about your health condition and all the medicines you are taking before using LOZEE CREAM to rule out any side-effects.

LOZEE CREAM is used to relieve itching, swelling and irritation associated with different skin problems like eczema, psoriasis, prickly heat rash, insect bites and stings and nappy rash. This medicine stops the skin's sensitivity to the triggers caused by skin flare-ups. It also has moisturizing properties that gently moisturize the skin and control the symptoms of different skin conditions. This medication can also be used as 'maintenance therapy' to keep the different skin conditions under control.

To treat your condition effectually continue using LOZEE CREAM for as long as your doctor has prescribed it. Do not use LOZEE CREAM if you had a skin reaction or irritation to any steroid medicine. Do not wrap or cover the treated area with a bandage unless advised by your doctor. Do not apply LOZEE CREAM on children’s skin unless prescribed by the doctor. Apply the medication carefully if you are using it on eyelids or near the eyes, as there is a risk of cataracts or glaucoma if the drug enters the eye frequently. LOZEE CREAM can enter the skin easily and may cause skin thinning because of repeated application. So, apply it carefully when using on broken or damaged skin and large surface area of skin. Inform your doctor immediately if you experience vision problems or any other abnormal signs. Do not use LOZEE CREAM at the same time as other creams or ointments such as a moisturizer. Wait at least 30 minutes between using clobetasone and any other product. Do not apply LOZEE CREAM on open wounds, infected skin, cuts and inflamed skin. 
 

• Eat foods rich in quercetin (a flavonoid), such as apples, cherry, broccoli, spinach and blueberries.
• Consuming food rich in probiotics helps in developing the immune system against allergies.
• Limit food intake that might trigger allergies, such as dairy products, soy, eggs and nuts.
• Avoid the consumption of foods with excess sugar as it may flare up inflammation.
• Include fruits, vegetables, whole grains, healthy fats and fish in your diet.
• Reducing stress and maintaining a good sleep cycle would be helpful.
• Avoiding getting in contact with harsh soaps, detergents and rough fabrics.

• Clean and dry the affected area before using LOZEE CREAM.
• Do not use LOZEE CREAM on dressing, band-aids and make-up unless told by the doctor.
• If LOZEE CREAM comes in contact with eyes, nose or mouth, rinse with water immediately.
• To treat your condition effectually continue using LOZEE CREAM for as long as your doctor has prescribed it.

Eczema: It is a medical condition in which skin becomes itchy, cracked and dry. This skin condition makes skin red from time to time and is very commonly seen in children but adults too are equally susceptible to it. Common symptoms incldue scaly skin, redness and itching. 

Psoriasis: it is a skin condition that makes skin red, flaky and crusty patches of skin gets covered with silver color scales. This condition usually happens on the knees, scalp, elbows and lower back. 

Heat rash: It is a harmless but uncomfortable condition of the skin. The symptoms incldue small red spots, red skin, mild swelling, followed by itchy and prickly feeling. This can happen at any body part and does not spread to other persons. 

Insect bites: This is not a serious condition but sometimes, it can infect the skin and can cause sensitive reactions in the body. 

Nappy rash: Almost every baby and toddler face nappy rash one time. This condition usually does not affect newborns but any baby can face a nappy rash. It happens when the baby's skin remains in contact with poo for a long time, frequent rubbing against the baby's skin and changing the nappy more often.
