LOZEE M CREAM 15GM is a combination medicine used to treat skin infections caused by fungi. Additionally, LOZEE M CREAM 15GM may also be used to treat diaper/nappy rash. Fungal infection is a skin disease in which a fungus attacks the tissue and causes infection. Fungal infections may be contagious (spread from one person to another).
LOZEE M CREAM 15GM is a combination of three medicines, namely: Miconazole (antifungal), Clobetasone (steroid), and Zinc oxide (antiseptic). Miconazole works by preventing the formation of fungal protective covering, thereby stops their growth. Zinc oxide has antiseptic and astringent properties. Clobetasone works by inhibiting the release of chemical messengers that cause inflammation and redness. Together, LOZEE M CREAM 15GM helps in treating skin infections.
LOZEE M CREAM 15GM is for external use only. You are advised to use LOZEE M CREAM 15GM for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you depending on your medical condition. In some cases, you may experience certain common side-effects such as burning sensation, irritation, itching and redness at the site of application. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if you experience these side effects persistently.
Do not use LOZEE M CREAM 15GM if you had a skin reaction or irritation to any steroid medicine. Consult your doctor before using LOZEE M CREAM 15GM if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Do not use LOZEE M CREAM 15GM in more than prescribed doses or on a large area of skin for a longer duration, as it may cause adverse effects. Do not wrap or cover the treated area with a bandage/diaper unless advised by your doctor. Do not apply LOZEE M CREAM 15GM on children’s skin unless prescribed by the doctor.
