About Mahacef-XL 200 Tablet

Mahacef-XL 200 Tablet belongs to a class of drugs called antibiotics used to treat bacterial infections of the urinary tract, ears, nose, throat, chest, and lungs. Bacterial infection is a condition in which harmful bacteria grow in the body and cause infection. It can infect any part of the body and multiply very quickly. Mahacef-XL 200 Tablet does not work against infections caused by the virus.

Mahacef-XL 200 Tablet contains Cefixime, Dicloxacillin and Lactic acid bacillus. Thus, it prevents diarrhoea and loss of beneficial bacteria due to prolonged intake of antibiotics.

They interfere with the formation of the bacterial cell walls (a protective covering) necessary for their survival, thereby, killing bacteria. Lactic acid bacillus is a probiotic (live microorganisms that keeps the body healthy) that helps restore good bacteria in the intestines.
