About Mefkind P Suspension

Mefkind P Suspension belongs to a group of medicines called NSAIDs (Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs) indicated for the symptomatic treatment of fever in children above six months. It is also useful for relieving mild to moderate pain in children.
 
Mefkind P Suspension contains 'Mefenamic acid', which works by blocking the effect of chemical messengers that cause pain and fever. Thus, Mefkind P Suspension helps relieve fever and pain.
 
In some cases, Mefkind P Suspension may cause side effects such as abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, and flatulence. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.

Shake the bottle well before use. Administer the prescribed dose/quantity to the child using the measuring cup provided by the pack. It can be given after a meal to reduce stomach upset (heartburn).
