Melitra-10Mg Tablet 10'S belongs to a group of medicines called tricyclic anti-depressants used to treat depression and anxiety. It is used with the combination of Flupentixol. Depression is a mental health disorder characterised by persistent and intense sadness. Anxiety is a feeling of fear, dread, and uneasiness.
 
Melitra-10Mg Tablet 10'S contains Melitracen, which works by increasing the levels of chemical messengers in the brain that help in regulating mood. Thereby, it helps treat depression and anxiety.
 
In some cases, Melitra-10Mg Tablet 10'S may cause side effects such as nausea, stomach upset, diarrhoea, dry mouth, and headache. Drug Warnings

Do not take Melitra-10Mg Tablet 10'S if you are allergic to any of its components. Inform the doctor if you have/had a myocardial infarction, narrow-angle glaucoma, bipolar disorder, epilepsy, or if you have taken MAOI (monoamine oxidase inhibitors) in the last 14 days. If you notice mood changes or if you have suicidal thoughts such as killing or harming yourself, seek medical attention immediately. Consult the doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
