Midorise 2.5 Tab 20'S belongs to a category of medications called ‘Antihypotensives’ primarily used to treat hypotension (low blood pressure). Hypotension is when blood pressure drops below the normal range, reducing cardiac output and hypovolemia (low blood volume). It can cause dizziness, weakness, fainting, and risk of injury from falls.
Midorise 2.5 Tab 20'S contains the active ingredient midodrine hydrochloride, which acts on the blood vessels via the sympathetic nervous system to correct imbalances of blood distribution. This should help relieve the symptoms you might suffer, such as dizziness, fainting, blurred vision, and weakness when sitting or standing up.
Take Midorise 2.5 Tab 20'S as prescribed by your doctor. Depending on your medical condition, you are advised to take Midorise 2.5 Tab 20'S for as long as your doctor prescribes it. Some people may experience Supine hypertension, Reflex bradycardia, Arrhythmias, Rash, Nausea, Vomiting, Dyspepsia, Headache, and Urinary retention. Most of these side effects of Midorise 2.5 Tab 20'S do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.
Inform your doctor if you are allergic to Midorise 2.5 Tab 20'S or other medicines. If you are a pregnant woman or nursing mother, do not consume Midorise 2.5 Tab 20'S without first consulting your doctor. It should not be used in children below 18 years. Midodrine is contraindicated in patients with severe organic heart disease, congestive heart failure, thyrotoxicosis, phaeochromocytoma, acute renal disease, severe renal insufficiency, urinary retention, narrow-angle glaucoma, hyperthyroidism, known hypersensitivity to any component of the product. And also, Patients with a history of CVA should be monitored closely.

Drug-drug interactions: Midorise 2.5 Tab 20'S may interact with drugs used to treat depression and anxiety (e.g. duloxetine), medicines used to help control the amount of sodium and fluids in your body (e.g. fludrocortisone), and medications used to treat high blood pressure (e.g. metoprolol).
Drug-food interactions: Consuming alcohol with Midorise 2.5 Tab 20'S is not advisable as it may cause unpleasant side effects.
Drug-disease interactions: Midorise 2.5 Tab 20'S should be used with caution in patients with heart disease/ hypertensive effects, kidney or liver dysfunction and diabetes.
