About Motogram Drops 5ml

Motogram Drops 5ml belongs to ophthalmic eye medications primarily used to treat bacterial eye infections. Conjunctivitis (pink eye) is a common bacterial infection associated with the inflammation or infection of the conjunctiva (white part of the eye) and the inner eyelid.

Motogram Drops 5ml is a combination of two antibiotics: Tobramycin and Moxifloxacin. Tobramycin works by inhibiting the production of essential proteins that are necessary for bacteria to grow, multiply and increase in numbers. Thus, it destroys bacteria. Moxifloxacin works by inhibiting DNA gyrase (bacterial enzyme) involved in repairing and replicating bacteria's DNA (genetic material). Thus, kills bacteria and clears the infection.

Use Motogram Drops 5ml as prescribed by your doctor. Motogram Drops 5ml is only for use in eyes. You are advised to use Motogram Drops 5ml for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you based on your medical condition. In some cases, you may experience eye irritation, eye redness, watery eyes, itchy or swollen eyelids, dry eyes, and mild itching in the eye. Most of these side effects of Motogram Drops 5ml do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.

Please tell your doctor if you are allergic to Motogram Drops 5ml or any other medicines. Motogram Drops 5ml is not recommended for children below 1 year of age. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, please inform your doctor before using Motogram Drops 5ml. Drive only if your vision is clear, as Motogram Drops 5ml may cause temporary blurred vision immediately after applying. You are advised to remove soft contact lenses before using Motogram Drops 5ml.
