Moxicule-PD Eye Drops 5 ml belongs to the class of medications called ‘antibacterial’ primarily taken to treat various bacterial eye infections. Infectious or harmful bacteria can make you sick and reproduce quickly in your body. These harmful bacteria produce chemicals known as toxins, which can damage tissue and make you sick.

Moxicule-PD Eye Drops 5 ml is a combination of two medicines: Moxifloxacin and Prednisolone. Moxifloxacin is a fluoroquinolone antibiotic that stops bacteria from making a copy of their genetic material (DNA), thereby killing and stopping bacterial infection growth. Thus together, Moxicule-PD Eye Drops 5 ml treats the infection effectively. On the other side, Prednisolone is a steroid drug that works by lowering the immune system's activity, which in turn reduces inflammation and swelling. Both medications in combination, treat bacterial infections.

Moxicule-PD Eye Drops 5 ml should be taken as advised by your doctor. Take this Moxicule-PD Eye Drops 5 ml in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Moxicule-PD Eye Drops 5 ml may cause common side effects like temporary blurry vision. These side effects need not require any medical attention. If it persists, please consult your doctor immediately.

Do not use Moxicule-PD Eye Drops 5 ml If you are allergic to it. Inform your doctor if you are using the other prescription and non-prescription medicines. Moxicule-PD Eye Drops 5 ml is used to treat bacterial eye infections. Moxifloxacin belongs to a group of drugs known as quinolone antibiotics that stop the growth of bacteria. This drug stops the bacteria's ability to copy their DNA. This action results in the killing of bacteria and stops them from producing other bacteria. This action treats bacterial infection. Prednisolone belongs to a group of drugs known as 'Corticosteroids,' which reduces inflammation caused by bacterial infections. Moxicule-PD Eye Drops 5 ml should only be used to prevent or treat infections caused by bacteria. Discontinue the use of Moxicule-PD Eye Drops 5 ml if you notice any severe allergic reaction in the body. Moxicule-PD Eye Drops 5 ml may cause side effects like blurry vision, affecting your driving ability. Do not drive or operate machinery in such cases. Drive only when you are alert and have clear vision.

• Probiotics should be taken after taking the full course of Moxicule-PD Eye Drops 5 ml to restore some of the healthy bacteria in the intestines that may have been killed. Taking probiotics after antibiotic treatment can reduce the risk of antibiotic-associated diarrhoea. Certain fermented foods like yoghurt, cheese, sauerkraut, kombucha, and kimchi can restore the good bacteria of the intestine. 
• Include more fibre-enriched food in your diet, as it can be easily digested by your gut bacteria, which helps stimulate their growth. Thus, fibre foods may help restore healthy gut bacteria after a course of antibiotics. Whole grains like whole-grain bread, brown rice should be included in your diet. 
• Avoid taking too much calcium, iron-enriched foods, and drinks as it might affect the working of Moxicule-PD Eye Drops 5 ml. 
• Avoid intake of alcoholic beverages with Moxicule-PD Eye Drops 5 ml as it can make you dehydrated and affect your sleep. This can make it harder for your body to aid the Moxicule-PD Eye Drops 5 ml in fighting off infections.

Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment, even if you feel better. Stopping it early may make the infection come back and harder to treat.
