About Mycidac-C Injection

Mycidac-C Injection belongs to the group of medicines called immunotherapeutic agents used to treat leprosy. It is used to treat advanced non-small-cell lung cancer in combination with other medicines and as adjuvant therapy in sepsis. Leprosy is an infection caused by slow-growing bacteria called Mycobacterium leprae.

Mycidac-C Injection contains Mycobacterium W and Sodium chloride. Mycidac-C Injection works by altering the biological response or modifying the actions of the immune system of individuals to various pathological conditions.

Mycidac-C Injection  should be administered by a healthcare professional. Do not self-administer. In some cases, you may experience some common side effects like injection site erythema (redness) and ulceration, nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, pain, weakness and loss of appetite. Most of these side effects of Mycidac-C Injection do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, reach out to your doctor.

Consult your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. It is not known whether Mycidac-C Injection alters the ability to drive; do not drive or operate machinery if you experience any symptoms that affect your ability to concentrate and react.
