Myosone Plus Tablet 10's is a combination of two drugs: Eperisone (muscle relaxant) and Paracetamol (pain killer). Eperisone works by relaxing skeletal muscles and reducing myotonia (inability of muscles to relax). It can relax vascular smooth muscles (smooth muscle found in the wall of blood vessels) and improve blood circulation. It can also suppress pain reflexes. These effects of Myosone Plus Tablet 10's help to reduce pain and spasms in the muscle effectively. Paracetamol is an analgesic (pain reliever) and an antipyretic (fever reducer). It inhibits cyclo-oxygenase (COX) enzymes that further prevent the formation of chemical messengers called 'prostaglandins' (PGs). These prostaglandins are produced at injury sites and cause pain and swelling. By blocking the COX enzyme's effect, lesser PGs are produced, which reduces mild to moderate pain and inflammation at the injured or damaged site. Collectively, Myosone Plus Tablet 10's helps to reduce pain and spasms in the muscle effectively.

You should take this medicine exactly as prescribed by your doctor. The common side effects of Myosone Plus Tablet 10's are nausea, vomiting, stomach discomfort, headache, weakness, drowsiness, and dizziness. Most of these side effects are mild and temporary. • Exercising regularly helps in muscle stretching so that they are less likely to spasm, tear, and sprain. Mild exercises such as jogging and walking are helpful for muscle stretching.
• Deep tissue massages with the help of a muscle massager are considered helpful.
• Avoid wearing tight-fitting clothes, instead, wear loose garments.
• Rest well and get optimal sleep (at least 8 hours for adults).
• Hot or cold therapy can help treat muscle spasms.
• Apply an ice pack or hot-pack on the muscle for 15-20 minutes.
• Try to include glycine (protein) in your daily diet, which is good food for your muscle.
