It is effective for relieving itchy and scaly skin between the toes. This medicine clears up athlete's foot infections and, with daily use, keeps it from coming back.

Do not use Naftate Cream if you are allergic to any of its components. Naftate Cream is for external use only; do not swallow it. Inform the doctor if you have nail or scalp infections. Avoid contact with mouth, nose and eyes. Consult the doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Do not use coverings such as dressing, bandages, or make-up after applying Naftate Cream unless told by the doctor. Let the doctor know if you are taking any other medicines, including supplements and herbal products.

• Regularly change your socks and wash your feet. Avoid shoes that make your feet sweaty and hot.
• Avoid walking barefoot in wet places such as changing rooms and gym showers to prevent fungal infections.
• Do not scratch the affected area of the skin, as it can spread the infection to other body parts.
• Avoid sharing towels, combs, bedsheets, shoes or socks with others.
• Wash your bedsheets and towels regularly.
• Avoid getting in contact with harsh soaps, detergents and rough fabrics.

Wash your hands before and after using Naftate Cream; however, do not wash your hands if you are applying Naftate Cream on your hands.

Ringworm: Tinea corporis, also called ringworm, is a fungal infection of the skin.
