Neurit Forte Capsule 10's belongs to the class of medicines called nutritional supplements, primarily used to treat nutritional deficiencies. It effectively treats various conditions caused due to lack of vitamins, such as folate, vitamin B6, and B12 deficiencies, anaemia, diabetic neuropathy (nerve damage due to diabetes), and peripheral neuropathy (nerve damage in the hands and feet). Nutritional deficiency occurs when the body is unable to absorb or get enough nutrients from food.

Neurit Forte Capsule 10's contains Benfotiamine, Folic acid, Pyridoxine, and Mecobalamin. Benfotiamine, a synthetic form of Vitamin B1 or Thiamine, helps deliver essential nutrients to the nerves. Folic acid is the synthetic form of folate (water-soluble Vitamin B). It helps in forming red blood cells and prevents DNA changes that may lead to cancer. Pyridoxine (vitamin B6) is a water-soluble vitamin that is involved in protein, fat, and carbohydrate metabolism and the formation of red blood cells and neurotransmitters. Mecobalamin (Methylcobalamin), a form of vitamin B12, regulates body functions, such as cell multiplication, blood cell formation, and protein synthesis. 

Your doctor will decide the dosage based on your medical condition. Sometimes, Neurit Forte Capsule 10's may cause common side effects like nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, skin rash, and headache. These side effects do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. Talk to your doctor if the side effects persist or worsen.

Please tell your doctor if you are allergic to Neurit Forte Capsule 10's or its components. It is essential to let your doctor know if you are pregnant, planning to conceive or a breastfeeding mother. Hence, breastfeeding women should consult their doctor before taking Neurit Forte Capsule 10's. Drinking alcohol may hinder Neurit Forte Capsule 10's absorption; therefore, it is advised to limit the alcohol intake while using Neurit Forte Capsule 10's. Neurit Forte Capsule 10's is safe to use in children only when advised by the doctor. Keep Neurit Forte Capsule 10's away from direct sunlight. Do not store Neurit Forte Capsule 10's above 25ºC.

Drug-Drug Interaction: Neurit Forte Capsule 10's may interact with fits medicines (fosphenytoin, phenytoin, phenobarbital), cancer-treating drugs (altretamine), antiparasitics (pyrimethamine), and drugs used to treat tumours (fluorouracil).

Drug-Food Interaction: Please avoid alcohol while using Neurit Forte Capsule 10's to ensure maximum absorption of nutrients.

Drug-Disease Interaction: Use Neurit Forte Capsule 10's with medical advice if you have malabsorption syndrome (difficulty absorbing nutrition from food), liver, kidney or heart diseases, and allergic reactions to medicines.

• Try Vitamin B complex food sources like milk, cheese, eggs, chicken, red meat, tuna, mackerel, salmon, shellfish, oysters, clams, dark green vegetables, such as spinach and kale, beets, avocados, potatoes, whole grains, cereals, kidney beans, black beans, and chickpea.
• Include folate-rich food sources like broccoli, Brussels sprouts, leafy green vegetables, cabbage, kale, spring greens, spinach, peas, chickpeas, kidney beans, liver (avoid this during pregnancy), and fortified breakfast cereals.
• Taking vegetables like acorn squash, asparagus, beet greens, Brussels sprouts, and spinach can help you cope with Vitamin B1 deficiency.
• Sprinkle sunflower seeds over your food, vegetables and salads. 
• Include fruits like citrus, banana, and watermelon in your diet.
• Avoid smoking and alcohol consumption.
• Exercise regularly and maintain a healthy lifestyle. Avoid excess fatty foods.

• Clinical monitoring of folic acid, vitamins B1, B12, and B6 levels through blood examinations are recommended. 
• Let your doctor and the laboratory staff know if you are using Neurit Forte Capsule 10's since Pyridoxine may interfere with a urine test for urobilinogen.
