Nexna Tablet 10's belongs to the class of 'nutritional supplements' that is used to treat acanthosis nigricans (dark discoloration in the body folds and creases), hirsutism (excessive growth of dark or coarse hair in women), psoriasis, skin tags, acne, and polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS). It also helps cope with insulin resistance and hormonal imbalance, thereby improving components of Syndrome X. 

Nexna Tablet 10's contains N-Acetylcysteine, Alpha Lipoic acid, Chromium picolinate, Inositol, and Zinc gluconate. It improves ovulation and hormonal balance in women suffering from PCOS and fertility issues. It is also beneficial in controlling blood sugar levels in PCOS by improving the utilization of insulin by the body. It also lightens the darkened skin and decreases sebum production.

Your doctor will decide the dosage based on your medical condition. Sometimes, Nexna Tablet 10's may have common side effects like nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, and dry mouth. These side effects do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. 

Let your doctor know if you use any prescription and non-prescription medications, including other vitamins, before starting Nexna Tablet 10's. It is essential to let your doctor know if you are pregnant, planning to conceive, or are a breastfeeding mother. Drug-Drug Interaction: Nexna Tablet 10's may interact with anti-cancer drugs, antimalarial medicines (chloroquine), antidiabetics (Insulin), blood pressure-lowering medicines, anticoagulants, and synthetic thyroid hormone (levothyroxine).

Drug-Food Interaction: It is advised to limit or avoid alcohol while using Nexna Tablet 10's.

Drug-Disease Interaction: Use Nexna Tablet 10's with medical advice if you have ​​​​liver, kidney or heart diseases and allergic reactions to medicines.

• Keep your stress in check with yoga and meditation. 
• Avoid smoking and alcohol consumption to maintain your skin healthy.
• If your skin discolouration is due to being overweight, losing those extra kilos can help lighten the skin again.
• Eat a low-fat diet and eliminate fat and skin from the meat.
• Avoid excessively fried foods like French fries and chips. If you still crave those, try having them baked.
• Improve physical activity and include any exercise for some time in your daily schedule.
• Include turmeric, omega fatty acids, vitamin D and calcium-enriched foods, green vegetables in your diet.

• Timely abdominal ultrasound scanning is recommended to monitor your PCOS condition. Your doctor may also advise on hormonal profile.
• Try to know the underlying reason for your acanthosis nigricans and get it treated by your doctor. This helps the condition to fade away permanently.

Acanthosis nigricans: A skin condition characterized by dark discoloration in the body folds and creases like behind the neck, armpits, knuckles, and groins. Symptoms include dark and velvety patches in the body folds. This condition may be caused due to overweight and changes in hormonal levels. 

Acne vulgaris (acne): It is a skin condition caused when the hair follicles are plugged with oil and dead skin cells. Whiteheads, blackheads, pimples, cysts, and nodules are all types of acne. 

Polycystic ovary/ovarian syndrome: It is a hormonal disorder that causes enlarged ovaries with numerous small follicles. Women with PCOS produce higher levels of male hormones than usual.
