About Nitrol 20 mg Injection

Nitrol 20 mg Injection belongs to a group of medicines known as anthracenedioness. Nitrol 20 mg Injection treats leukaemia and prostate cancer. It may also be used to treat multiple sclerosis (MS). Leukaemia is a type of cancer that develops in blood-forming tissue. Prostate cancer is a type of cancer that only occurs in men and affects the prostate gland, a tiny gland under the bladder that produces semen. Multiple sclerosis is a condition that affects the brain and spinal cord, resulting in symptoms such as problems with sensation, balance, vision, pain, impaired coordination, and fatigue.

Nitrol 20 mg Injection contains Mitoxantrone. In Cancer treatment, Nitrol 20 mg Injection works by slowing down the growth of cancer cells. In multiple sclerosis (MS) treatment, Nitrol 20 mg Injection works by slowing down an overactive immune system, which prevents or delays worsening symptoms. It also decreases the number of flare-ups.

Nitrol 20 mg Injection should be administered to patients only in a hospital setting under the supervision of a physician qualified by training and experience to administer cancer chemotherapeutic agents. Sometimes, you may experience common side effects, such as diarrhoea, hair loss, headache, irregular menstrual cycles or spotting, nausea, pain, redness, or swelling with sores inside the mouth or throat.
