About Nodis Syrup

Nodis Syrup belongs to the class of medications called ‘antiflatulent agent’ used to reduce symptoms of gas such as bloating and abdominal pain. Bloating is the accumulation of gas in the stomach and intestines. It occurs due to swallowing of air while eating or drinking too fast, having oily or spicy food, or having large meals.

Nodis Syrup contains ‘Dimethicone’. It works by decreasing the surface tension of gas bubbles to release the gas more efficiently. It facilitates the expulsion of gas through flatus or belching (burping). It helps to reduce abdominal pain caused due to gas formation.

You should take this medicine exactly as advised by the physician. The common side-effects of Nodis Syrup are stomach upset and diarrhea. These side effects are mild and temporary. However, if any of these side effects persist or get worse, inform your physician immediately.

It is not recommended to take Nodis Syrup if you are allergic to it. Before taking Nodis Syrup , inform your physician if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Practice Good Hygiene: Maintain good hygiene to prevent the spread of infection. To stay healthy, wash your hands frequently, clean and disinfect surfaces regularly, and avoid exchanging personal belongings with others.
Take Anti-Diarrheal Medications: If your doctor advises, anti-diarrheal medications such as loperamide might help manage diarrhoea symptoms. Always follow your doctor's directions.
Keep track of your diarrhoea symptoms. If they don't get better or worse or are accompanied by severe stomach pain, blood, or dehydration signs (like extreme thirst or dark urine), seek medical help.
