Novanib-T Oral Solution 100 ml contains 'Tofacitinib' which works by blocking the Janus kinase enzyme, thereby lowering inflammation and symptoms associated with rheumatoid and psoriatic arthritis. 
 
In some cases, you may experience common side-effects such as diarrhoea, headache, upper respiratory tract infection, cold, nausea, and vomiting. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if you experience these side effects persistently.

Novanib-T Oral Solution 100 ml is indicated for patients with moderate to severe rheumatic arthritis, and psoriatic arthritis who have had intolerance or inadequate response to methotrexate or DMARDs (Disease-Modifying Anti-Rheumatic Drugs).

Co-administration of Novanib-T Oral Solution 100 ml with Capecitabine may increase the risk of serious and potential infections.

How to manage the interaction:
Although there is an interaction, Capecitabine can be taken with Novanib-T Oral Solution 100 ml if prescribed by the doctor. Consult the prescriber if you develop signs and symptoms of infection such as fever, chills, diarrhea, sore throat, muscle aches, shortness of breath, blood in phlegm, weight loss, red or inflamed skin, body sores, and pain or burning sensation during urination. Do not discontinue the medication without consulting a doctor.

Although taking Novanib-T Oral Solution 100 ml and Fosamprenavir together can evidently cause an interaction, it can be taken if your doctor has suggested it. However, consult the doctor immediately if you experience symptoms such as fever, chills, diarrhea, sore throat, muscle aches, shortness of breath, blood in phlegm, weight loss, red or inflamed skin, body sores, and pain or burning during urination. Do not stop using any medications without a doctor's advice.

  • Inform your doctor if you notice painful blisters on the skin or if you experience breathing difficulties.
  • If you are a woman of child-bearing potential, use effective contraception during the treatment with Novanib-T Oral Solution 100 ml and for 4 weeks after discontinuation.
