About O Duo IV Injection

O Duo IV Injection belongs to the group of medicines called antibiotics used to treat bacterial infections. It is indicated in the treatment of shigellosis, dental infections, post-surgical infections, diarrhoea, and mixed infections of the cervix and vagina. A bacterial infection is a condition in which harmful bacteria enter, multiply, and infect the body. Harmful bacteria produce toxins, which can damage tissue and cause sickness.

O Duo IV Injection is a combination of two antibiotic drugs: Ofloxacin and Ornidazole. Ofloxacin prevents the bacteria from repairing and dividing.
