O-Lec Softgel Capsule belongs to the group of vitamins/nutrients used to treat muscle spasms, cramps and carnitine deficiency. A muscle cramp is a rapid, abrupt and sudden contraction of one or more muscles of the body. Carnitine deficiency is a deficient store of carnitine in the body.

O-Lec Softgel Capsule contains Levocarnitine and Tocopherol. O-Lec Softgel Capsule  relieves muscular contractions and works towards strengthening muscles by supplying nutrients necessary for growth. O-Lec Softgel Capsule also works as an antioxidant, thus protecting body cells from damage by free radicals. It also helps maintain skeletal muscle function.

O-Lec Softgel Capsule may be taken with or without food. In some cases, O-Lec Softgel Capsule may cause certain common side effects such as nausea, vomiting, or a mild stomach upset. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if these side effects persist or worsen.

It is advisable to inform the doctor if you are allergic to any of its components. Drug-Drug Interactions: O-Lec Softgel Capsule may interact with blood-thinners (warfarin), anti-obesity drugs (orlistat), bile-acid binders (cholestyramine, colestipol), insulin, cholesterol-reducing statins, immunosuppressant (cyclosporine), vitamin B3 (niacin), and iron.

Drug-Food Interactions: O-Lec Softgel Capsule should be used with caution in case of intolerance to certain sugars. 

Drug-Disease Interactions: O-Lec Softgel Capsule should be used with caution in patients with a known hypersensitivity disorder, chronic diarrhoea, thromboembolic disorder, cardiovascular disorder, bleeding or clotting disorder, epilepsy, diabetes, hypothyroidism, peripheral neuropathy and end-stage renal disease.
