OF INJECTION 100ML I.V belongs to a class of medications called antibiotics used in the treatment of bacterial infections of the urinary tract, genital tract, chest, lungs, skin, and soft tissue. Bacterial infection is a condition in which harmful bacteria grow in the body and cause infection. It can infect any part of the body and multiply very quickly. OF INJECTION 100ML I.V does not work against infections caused by a virus.

OF INJECTION 100ML I.V contains Ofloxacin that works by interfering with bacterial enzyme, DNA gyrase involved in repairing and replicating the DNA (genetic material) of bacteria. Thus, OF INJECTION 100ML I.V kills bacteria and clears the infection. 

OF INJECTION 100ML I.V will be administered by a healthcare professional. Do not self-administer. In some cases, you may experience redness, swelling or pain at the injection site, headache, nausea, and diarrhoea. Most of these side effects of OF INJECTION 100ML I.V do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor. 

If you are allergic to Ofloxacin or other antibiotics or any other medicines, please tell your doctor. If you are pregnant or planning for pregnancy, please inform your doctor before taking OF INJECTION 100ML I.V. Avoid taking OF INJECTION 100ML I.V and consult a doctor if you are breastfeeding as OF INJECTION 100ML I.V may be excreted in human milk and cause adverse effects in the baby. OF INJECTION 100ML I.V is not recommended for children below 18 years as the safety and effectiveness were not established. Drive only if you are alert as OF INJECTION 100ML I.V may cause drowsiness, dizziness, or changes in vision. Avoid alcohol consumption with OF INJECTION 100ML I.V as it may cause sleepiness or dizziness.

If you have low levels of magnesium or potassium in your blood, inform your doctor before taking OF INJECTION 100ML I.V. If you have received transplantation or are about to undergo an operation under general anaesthesia, inform your doctor before taking OF INJECTION 100ML I.V.

• Take probiotics after completing the full course of OF INJECTION 100ML I.V to restore healthy bacteria in the intestines that may have been killed. Taking probiotics after antibiotic treatment can reduce the risk of antibiotic-associated diarrhoea. Certain fermented foods like cheese, yoghurt, kombucha, sauerkraut, and kimchi can help to restore the good bacteria in the intestine. 
• Include fibre-rich foods, as they can be easily digested by gut bacteria, which helps stimulate their growth. Whole grains such as whole grain bread and, brown rice should be included in your diet. 
• Make sure you drink plenty of water or other fluids every day while you are taking OF INJECTION 100ML I.V.
• Avoid alcohol consumption as it may increase adverse effects.

• Redness, swelling or pain at the injection site
• Headache
• Nausea
• Diarrhoea 

If you are about to undergo any blood or urine tests, inform your doctor that you are taking OF INJECTION 100ML I.V as it may interfere with certain tests.
