Olocon Tablet 10's

Olocon Tablet 10's belongs to the 'antihistamine' class of drugs, primarily used to treat allergies. It also treats allergic rhinitis/allergic nasal inflammation, hives (skin rash), and itching associated with skin diseases. Allergy is an immune response produced by the body in response to allergens. Allergic rhinitis is inflammation and allergy of the nose caused by an allergen, such as pollen, dust, mould, or skin flakes from certain animals.

Olocon Tablet 10's contains Olopatadine, an antihistamine drug. It inhibits the release of histamine (chemical messengers released due to an allergic response in the body) from mast cells. Thereby treats symptoms of allergies like runny nose, sneezing, and itching.

Your doctor will advise on how often you need to take Olocon Tablet 10's based on your medical condition. Some common side effects of Olocon Tablet 10's include sleepiness, malaise (general discomfort), dry mouth, oedema/fluid retention, rashes, and itching. These side effects do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. If the side effects persist or worsen, please reach out to a doctor. 

Please do not use Olocon Tablet 10's if you are allergic to any of its components. Drug-Food Interaction: Consumption of alcohol while using Olocon Tablet 10's increases the risk of sleepiness. Hence avoid or limit the intake of alcohol.

Drug-Disease Interaction: Brief your medical history to the doctor if you have any heart, liver or kidney diseases and allergic reactions to medicines before using Olocon Tablet 10's.
