About Omniscan 0.5 Injection

Omniscan 0.5 Injection belongs to the class of diagnostic agents. It can be useful in a wide range of MRI applications, including (but not limited to) hepatic imaging, pelvic imaging, cardiac imaging, brain and spine imaging, and musculoskeletal imaging. The MRI scan is used to investigate or diagnose conditions of various body parts.

Omniscan 0.5 Injection contains Gadodiamide, an iodinated contrast agent. Contrast agents are used to create a clear picture of the different parts of the body during certain medical procedures, such as magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scans.

Experienced clinicians or trained individuals will administer it. Injection site reactions, vasodilation, abdominal pain, diarrhoea, eructation, dry mouth, vomiting, myalgia, dyspnea, rash, taste loss, taste perversion, acute reversible renal failure and abnormal vision like undesirable consequences may occur during your procedure, just like other medicines, since your health care professional will immediately address any issues that emerge during your procedure.
