Chlorpheniramine is an antihistamine (anti-allergic drug) that works by blocking the action of histamine, a substance responsible for causing allergic reactions. Thereby, it helps to provide relief from symptoms of allergy such as eye redness, itching, puffiness, swelling and watery eyes.
