About Oxerute CD Tablet
Oxerute CD Tablet belongs to the group of medicines known as 'vasoprotective', primarily used to treat haemorrhoids (piles), varicose veins (enlarged, swollen, and twisted vein), and diabetic retinopathy (damage to the light-sensitive black part of the eye). Haemorrhoids, also known as piles, is a medical condition that happens when veins present in the anus and rectum area(the last part of the large intestine that ends up in the anus) get swell and become painful. The varicose vein is a condition in which veins (a type of blood vessel) become large and swollen, especially in feet and legs. Diabetic retinopathy is a health condition that happens when the retina's blood vessels (the black part of the eye) get damaged in persons with diabetes.
Oxerute CD Tablet is a combination of drugs containing: Troxerutin and Calcium Dobesilate. Together, Oxerute CD Tablet improves blood flow in veins (a type of blood vessel) by decreasing the thickness of blood and also relaxes the muscles of the affected part of the body(legs, feet, anus, eyes) by reducing the leakage and fragility of blood vessels. It provides relief in piles, varicose veins, and diabetic retinopathy.
Take Oxerute CD Tablet as prescribed by your doctor. You are suggested to take Oxerute CD Tablet as long as your doctor has prescribed it after checking your medical condition. In some cases, you may experience common side effects such as fever, stomach pain, diarrhoea, skin reactions, arthralgia(joint pain), and agranulocytosis (lower white blood cell count). Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if you experience these side effects persistently.
To treat your condition effectually, continue taking Oxerute CD Tablet for as long as your doctor has prescribed. Do not exceed the dose and duration prescribed by your doctor. Consult your doctor before taking Oxerute CD Tablet if you are pregnant or breastfeeding; your doctor will prescribe you Oxerute CD Tablet only if the benefits outweigh the risks. Oxerute CD Tablet should not be given to children as safety and efficacy have not been established. Inform your doctor about your health condition and medications before taking Oxerute CD Tablet to rule out any side effects.

Medicinal Benefits
Oxerute CD Tablet belongs to the group of medicines known as 'vasoprotective', primarily indicated in the treatment of haemorrhoids (piles), varicose veins (enlarged, swollen, and twisted vein), and diabetic retinopathy (damage to light-sensitive the black part of the eye). Oxerute CD Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Troxerutin and Calcium Dobesilate. Troxerutin is an antioxidant. It helps improve the strength of the walls of blood capillaries, thus preventing any kind of leakage. It also improves blood flow by decreasing the viscosity/thickness of blood. Calcium Dobesilate enhances blood flow in veins (a type of blood vessel) by reducing blood thickness and also relaxing the muscles of the affected part of the body (legs, feet, anus, eyes) by reducing the leakage and fragility of blood vessels. Together, Oxerute CD Tablet provides relief in piles, varicose veins, and diabetic retinopathy.

Disease/Condition Glossary
Haemorrhoids: Hemorrhoids or piles are inflamed and bulging veins in the rectum and anus that cause discomfort, agony, and bleeding. External and internal haemorrhoids are also possible. Internal haemorrhoids form within the rectum and anus, while external haemorrhoids form outside the anus. Piles induce discomfort, itching, and bleeding. They also make sitting difficult. Itching, irritation, pain around the anus, swelling near the anus region, unpleasant bowel motions, and blood in stools are all symptoms.
Varicose Veins: Varicose veins are constricted, twisted and enlarged veins in the lower limbs that occur due to malfunction of valves that causes blood to pool in the veins leading to heaviness, itching, swelling and pain. For most people, the cause is generally harmless. It is a superficial condition, more or less. Rarely they may be symptomatic of an underlying circulatory problem.
Diabetic retinopathy: Diabetic retinopathy is a health condition that happens when the retina's blood vessels (the black part of the eye) get damaged in persons who have diabetes. Initially, this disease does not cause any symptoms. Still, as this disease progresses, it can cause blurred vision, fluctuating vision, impaired colour vision, dark or empty areas in your vision, and vision loss.
